Service Buddy + QuickBooks Online for flooring stores

Keep QuickBooks. Service Buddy is the operations layer that sits in front of it — quotes, jobs, inventory, scheduling, and payments. A clean two-way sync keeps your accountant's workflow exactly where it is.

How the two systems work together

QuickBooks Online keeps doing what it does well.

Your chart of accounts, P&L, balance sheet, sales tax reporting, payroll integrations, bank reconciliation, and year-end accountant access — all of it stays in QuickBooks Online, exactly where you (and your CPA) are used to it.

Service Buddy handles the parts QuickBooks isn't built for.

Quoting a flooring job, signing a digital proposal in one click, taking a deposit, generating a work order, scheduling the install, tracking material costs against the job, sending automated payment reminders, managing inventory by SKU — none of that fits cleanly inside QuickBooks. Service Buddy replaces all of that with one connected workflow.

The two-way sync keeps both systems honest.

Customer invoices created in Service Buddy flow to QuickBooks Online as invoices. Payments collected through BuddyPay flow over as payments applied. Items, classes, and tax codes stay aligned so your bookkeeper isn't doing manual journal entries to clean up a mess.

★ Why we win

Onboarding that's hands-on, founder-led, and built around your success.

The integration is the easy part. Making sure your team is actually using Service Buddy effectively from day one is the part that matters — and it's the part most software companies treat as a hand-off. We don't. We're family-owned, our founders sit in on implementations, and our team picks up the phone when you call.

Real partnership

Family-owned. You call, we pick up.

We were using QuickBooks and Excel for everything — quotes, inventory, client info. It was chaos. We knew there had to be a better way, so we switched to Service Buddy.
